The Colour Of, still in it’s early days, is a website that attempts to find the colour of anything. They say on their website that they use an averaging algorithm on the colour pixel values of images found on Flickr to create these beautiful, painting-like images.
Found via Tina of swissmiss who is also the genius brain behind Tattly, a temporary tattoo store. Tina got tired of the badly designed temporary tattoos she had to use for her daughter and along with her other designer friends started Tattly. Here are a few examples. Amazing!
